level-headed

I’m feeling a little better today. Like Teresa reminded me – the cyst is just that – a cyst. It will go away. We will do our IUIs. Probably not now, but later. My mind knows all of this and can recite it all calmly. My heart still isn’t so sure. We’ll see if my gut feeling that I will be on bcps is right today. My appointment isn’t until 5:30 this evening, though.

I’ve read and re-read my optimism post trying to go back to that positive place. Maybe at the beginning of next cycle I can be truly hopeful again.

My thoughts are with those in Katrina’s path. We have family in New Orleans, but they all left on Friday and Saturday. We are hoping their homes are not completely destroyed.

  1. I am glad you are feeling better. One experiences such a roller-coaster of emotions during infertility. It’s so difficult to stay positive. Try to hang in there.

  2. I’m glad you’re feeling a little better, I hope the appt. today brings you some relief or reassurance. I’m glad your family is safe.

  3. Well it’s 7:18 eastern time and I’m curious as hell if you have to go on the bcp… I hope that cyst is shrinking all by itself. I hate the bcp treatment. Those little pills remind me of those days when I was so damn sure that I was a fertile being who needed to “be careful.” Sigh…

It was pretty cool to be mentioned on your post (tossing my hair and feeling totally uppity). I hope you keep feeling better…

  4. so glad to hear you are doing a lot better. just keep reading the positive post and keep listening to teresa!
