rapid, vigorous follicular response

Or, “You are *so* done with Clomid 50 if you aren’t pregnant.”

I have something in the neighborhood of 6 follicles. There are four largish ones on my right ovary – 28mm, 26mm, 23mm, 22mm. There is an 18mm and a 13mm on my left ovary. There are a couple of smaller ones scattered around for good measure.

My uterine lining was thinner than they like to see – 6.8mm. We would have done the trigger right away if it had been thicker to prevent the follicles from getting *too* much bigger.

So RE says to trigger late tonight, IUI on Wednesday.

He felt the need to warn me of the risk of high order multiples. I’ll cross that mythical bridge when I find it.

So, I’m nervous, excited, and a bit skeptical. I’ll be thrilled on Wednesday if the sperm cooperate.
