ow, ow, ow

OK, right ovary. I heard you. LOUD and CLEAR. Before Clomid, before injections, I never felt ovulation. Never. My periods were pretty regular, my charts indicated ovulation, but my ovaries…nada.

I think I liked it that way.

So either my right ovary ovulated or that squatter cyst ruptured last night. Or maybe both? J thinks I’m completely nuts and that there is no way I can feel my ovaries. He was quite amused at the “ow, ow, ow” that kept coming out of my mouth every time I repositioned myself on the couch.

I think I’m probably in the “two week wait” (for what?). More like 10 days or so for me. I’m really in the two week wait for my decision-making consult appointment.

  1. Either way, waiting sucks. Glad to hear you’re running and baking, as it seems to make you happy. Do that half marathon!

  2. Mittelschmerz is optional. πŸ™‚

Waiting for consult, not so much. 😦

  3. I was never aware of my innards until IF. Hell, I wasn’t even aware of my cervix until ttc.

Now I’m sooooo in tune, and it’s annoying.

on the ovulation/cyst rupture. I’m glad you got the two lines — it would have sucked if neither of us got that positive.

  4. You tell your J that you can bet your sweet Aunt Irene that ovulation can hurt and YES you can feel it.

I experienced just the reverse… never noticed ovulation without the meds… with them, OH yes.

Good things are coming, Mrs. Hope. Hold on.

  5. After my m/c I started getting pains when I O…they can be very painful at times. Sorry about the wait.

  6. Sorry your were hurting, hopefully it won’t be a slow tww.
