lions, tigers, and cysts, oh my!

I would have been shocked if there weren’t any cysts. I will say I was slightly surprised at how many cysts were still there. Dr was surprised at how large they still were.

So I wait a month. I think they’ll resolve on their own; they usually do.

I clarified a couple of things with him this morning – we’ll actually do two laminaria placements…one 48 hours prior to transfer, and a second (with a larger laminaria) 24 hours before transfer.

Of the three cervixes – one has had a baby, one did not (he said she had other “issues”), and we don’t know about me just yet.

I probably sounded bitter about the cervix thing and letting another RE take a crack at it – that’s not it – I just hate the ego. If we do get to a third fresh cycle, I probably will make an appt with a different RE – both for a second opinion and to have someone else attempt a trial transfer. If it’s different with a different doctor, then I’ll probably switch.

Oh – and it’s our 8th anniversary today. We’re going to open the bottle of wine we planned to save for our 10th today. We decided that the past couple of years count double. We’ll go to dinner, courtesy of my girls, on Friday.

And now, we do what this blog is named, what it seems we will never stop doing – we wait.
