I think the whole world should have been able to hear me exhale with relief when I got my blood work results from today. I can breathe for a few more days, at least until the next blood draw, which I think will be Friday.

hCG: 144 (and that was with 43 hours between tests)
P4: 351.5
E2: 2283

I’m to do one more PIO injection tonight, then switch to suppositories tomorrow. And I will cut my twice daily dose of Estrace to once daily.

The spotting is off and on – all brown, and it’s been lighter since Friday.

Oh little embryo(s), please keep doing what you’re doing.

  18. Congratulations Larissa! Wonderful news.

I’ve been skulking on your blog for a while but haven’t looked recently and haven’t actively shared my support.

Thalia (Thalia’s Fertility Journey) told me about your funky cervix – a problem that I share.

I’m really pleased for you AND delighted that cervical issues do not necessarily mean failure! I’d love know a bit more about your dilation.

Hope those numbers keep on growing xx

  19. YAY! So glad that numbers are great and the spotting is slowing down. Looking good.

  23. Yay, huge, humongous yay!!!

Like several people have said, spotting is normal. My Dr. said it is pretty normal to spot during your first trimester–particularly at the time when you would usually get your period. And it was the case for me. I spotted at 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks, with the amount getting less and less.

Can not wait for the next beta for you and the u/s.

  24. Congrats again, Larissa. Nothing but good thoughts heading your way!
