in between

So we did go in last night, but we didn’t stay. After the membrane strip on Friday, I’d had lots of contractions and pressure, and, sure enough, had dilated to a 2. So we got sent home – with another membrane strip (ouch!), something to help me sleep, and instructions to come back in the morning.

I didn’t have a single contraction while hooked up to the monitors, of course.

Mr. Hope said as we walked out the door to leave for the hospital, “I’m so proud of you.” I’m proud of him, too. I can’t wait to see him become a father…today.

I also want to send my thoughts out to AMS at Our Own Creation and her family.
