happy birthday to me

Get through this without crying. I can’t.

Mrs. Hope,

My god, look what you have done. Thank you for making her. You willed her to life and she is perfect. I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am for you. I can’t begin to tell you how proud I am of you. Seeing you two together for the first time was the best moment of my life. You were wrong when you said that I’d be a lot richer if it hadn’t been for everything that happened. I might have had more money, but I wouldn’t be as rich.

I can’t wait for her to grow up so I can tell her what you did. I’ll tell her how hard you worked and how much you loved her, even years before she was born. I hope she grows up to be just like you.

Thank you for doing the really hard work with her. I know it’s difficult, but you have become an amazing mother. Once again, I can never repay you. While I can never match your contributions, I promise to do more.

Also, thank you for being married to me for ten whole years. I can’t imagine spending my life with anyone else.

We hope you have a fantastic birthday. We love you very much.

Love,

Mr. Hope & BabyHope

P.S. Can I say that it kills me when I see the two of you sleeping together. It just melts my heart…
