Three hundred sixty six days. One leap year.

Every infertile blogger reminisces about the one that worked. That finally, finally, finally, finally, finally worked. That’s one finally for each transfer. And oh how I needed that cycle to work. I know we need every cycle to work, but I really needed that one to work. I needed her to stay. And she did.

May 1st of 2007, she was a little ball of cells.

She was one of these. I always imagine she’s the one on the right.

And the often written, “What a difference a year makes.”

  1. It’s an absolute miracle to me how that little blob of cells can grow and grow and become a real live baby. Especially one as cute as yours.

  2. It is truly a wonder that a little circle of cells can grow into such a beautiful baby. The picture of her was so precious, it brought tears to my eyes. What a difference a year makes, I’m still so thrilled for you!

  3. What a beautiful transformation. She is getting so big. What a cutie she is.

May 1st is a big day for us too–we found out we were pregnant exactly 3 years ago after 3 years of trying. Happy day!

  7. Amazing, isn’t it? I have my embryo picture, too. It’s in my son’s baby book. I’m betting there aren’t many of his friends who can look at their baby book and know what they looked like just a few days after conception. 🙂

What a sweet pic of BabyHope. Love that smile.
