the other end

BabyHope is seven months old today. I swear she’ll start crawling any moment, but I’ve been swearing that for about a month now.

I could tell you about some of the other great things she’s doing, but for a moment, I’m going to tell you about the thing I don’t like.

The poop.

Seriously. How much can one child poop? One *small* child, at that. She poops in the morning. She poops at night. She poops in the high chair, in the exersaucer, in the car seat, and in my arms. She poops green, brown, and orange. Depends on what she last ate, it seems.

The really “good” ones follow bouts of grunting and turning red. No, she’s not constipated. She’s just a loud pooper.

I love BabyHope. I do not love BabyHope’s poop.

  1. Mine crawled yesterday, but still does not SIT arrgghhhhh

The poop is no fun… and we have years yet of dealing with it.

  2. You either get a pooper or a non-pooper. I want to say it gets better, but not until they are fully, completely, 100% potty trained. Miss A is potty trained, but I’m still having to help her wipe. And empty the little potty. So it still sucks and grosses me out.

  3. Cooper is a poop machine. It is no fun. He’s better now that he used to be though. It is so funny how they sit there grunting it out and are totally clueless at how unacceptable that will one day be. The crawling will keep you oh so busy, but I must say, it is a blast!

  4. 🙂 This post made me smile.
