I'll be thankful tomorrow

But today, I’m going to whine for just a moment.

We have a sick cat, a sick baby, and now I’m sick. We had visitors over the weekend, while the cat was hospitalized.

BabyHope hasn’t slept well at all for 2 nights.

We have to get in the car with the cat, the baby, and me and drive 3 hours tomorrow. I have to do laundry. I’m supposed to bake something. I’m supposed to get the cat back to the vet today for more fluids.

All I’d like to do is crawl back into bed.

I’ll be thankful tomorrow. After the car ride is over.

  1. Oh my I hope your day gets better. I really hope BabyHope, you & kitty start to feel better too. I feel for you really, that's ALOT for you to deal with and a 3 hr ride!

  2. Ugh. That’s a lot to deal with. I’d bake for you if I could. What about tylenol or benadryl–you know, to help with sleeping during the car ride? Is that wrong to suggest that? Clearly I’m not a mom, but it’s what popped into my head!
Hoping tomorrow is a better day.

  3. You know, we are terrible at doing for others and putting ourselves last. If you can, I would say beg off and stay home. You and BabyHope both need the rest and believe me, any mom in the group will totally understand. Germs know no holidays!

  4. Aw geez! What a pain to be dealing with all of that at one time. I hope either the wellness fairy or the laundry fairy pays you a visit so that you can get everything done and just REST.

Happy Thanksgiving (and get some REST)!

  5. Wednesdays were made for whining!
I hope you all feel better soon and have a great holiday . . .

  6. Anyone would understand that you wouldn’t feel all too thankful today. I hope you all are feeling better really soon!

  7. I know what you mean. It can be hard to be thankful in the midst of all the crap! I really hope your trip goes smoothly and you can be extra thankful tomorrow. Hope everyone is feeling much better soon!
