this is IVF?

They tell me this is an IVF cycle. No injections. Few appointments. It just adds to the sense that we’re not really doing anything.

I don’t even have to do the dreaded PIO that Mr. Hope hates as much as me. My doctor has switched to Crinone in all his protocols. And, according to the pharmacy, the Crinone was covered by my insurance. A shock of the good kind, indeed.

So not much here. Just lots of little blue estrogen pills. I’ll write about the pick up procedure for my embryos later.

  1. No injections!? That is great. PIO is so not fun. I had to take them for the 10 weeks I had preterm labor so bad and it was awful. I am glad things are going so easy this time around. I hope the transfer is every bit as smooth. Good luck.

  2. I did find that FETs were WAY easier than the fresh cycles – pills and suppositories, really.

    Fingers crossed!

  3. I’m so nervous and excited for you…

  4. Sounds pretty relaxed!

  5. Best of luck to you!

  6. Sending you lots of good thick lining thoughts and sticky implantation thoughts!! That’s so awesome that you get to avoid PIO!!

  7. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you!
