baby love

Well, she’s really not so much a baby anymore. She seems so big, so grown-up these days, and I know we’re still at the beginning of that feeling.

She’s happy (most of the time), brilliant (of course), and the reason I’m willing to go back for more. I’m amazed at how far she’s come – she was a stranger-fearing, somewhat difficult baby in public, but lately she’s a hoot. She’s independent. She’s talking and signing up a storm. I think she’s probably at over 50 words. She’s busy. Busy copying mama cleaning up, “folding” laundry, writing and drawing. She loves being outside. She loves her stuffed animals, and her remaining real-life kitty (though the feeling isn’t mutual). She’s still a skinny little thing. I think she *might* be 20 pounds now. But she’s tall. She’s a great napper and good sleeper – she loves her routines. I don’t know what we did before her. Life will never be the same, thank goodness.

I did have another hCG draw today. It did go up, though not that well. I’ll leave it at that. U/S still scheduled for Friday. And no offense, save the “I know someone who…” for someone else today.
