I’m still here

Sort of.  I’ve just been keeping busy with other stuff.  You know, like BabyHope hit 18 months two weeks ago.  She’s growing like a weed right now – Mr. Hope and I both think she’s on a bit of a spurt – she’s eating like it, that’s for sure.  She was 21 lbs, 12 oz and 33 inches at her last visit.

We also planned a BIG trip that we’ve been talking about for probably close to a year.  Originally, I thought we might take this trip this past spring, because *surely* we’d be done with the frozen embryos by then.  That became summer.  Which became fall.  And the recent delays kind of put us in a bind, so we went ahead and decided to do it.

London followed by Paris.  A week each.  October.  BabyHope is coming, as is Mr. Hope’s mom.  We’ve purchased plane tickets, and booked flats in each city.  It feels a little crazy, but we want to do it, and it’s cheaper right now with BabyHope under 2.

If we get to a transfer, and if I get pregnant, I’ll be about 9 weeks when we leave.  That makes me slightly nervous, but not nervous enough not to book the trip!  I’m brushing up on my very rusty and not very good French.

In about 10 days, I leave with BabyHope for my sister’s wedding.  We’ll stay for about 10 days, and Mr. Hope will meet us there just for the weekend of the wedding.

Passing time.
