grow, grow, grow

That’s been my silent thought most of the week.  In moments of stillness and even amid the din of everyday life, I try to close my eyes and will the embryos to grow, implant, and thrive.  Grow, grow, grow.  Grow, grow, grow.

I’ve been mostly calm.  But the truth is that I’m scared.  Each day brings me closer to the end of this part of the waiting game.  For me, there’s something peaceful about the day or two or three following transfer: all is possible, all could be perfect, all feels well.

The end of the wait is scary.  There’s much to know and little to know – the “big” answer looms around the corner.  I’ll POAS at some point, but I’m scared to that, too.

It’s unimaginable that this cycle could fail.  But it’s possible.

Grow, grow, grow.  Grow, grow, grow.

  1. I’ll say it with you….grow, grow, grow little ones. I can only imagine the feelings of hope and fright all at the same time. Wishing and hoping and praying for you.

  2. This is the part where it “sings the tune without the words and never stops at all.”
Wishing with all my heart for you.

  3. We’ll all join in for a resounding of chorus of “grow grow grow”–do you hear us?

  4. I’ll join in 🙂 grow, grow, grow… grow, implant, thrive… grow, grow, grow…

  5. Can we sing it to the tune of row, row, row your boat, because I already started it and now it is stuck there. 🙂

  6. Ah, the 2ww. I’m so not looking forward to that again. The only time I’ve ever been able to relax during the 2ww is when my embryos are still in the dish at the lab. Once they’re in my body all bets are off.

I’m sorry you’re in that treacherous part right now. I’m keeping absolutely everything crossed for you and thinking “grow, grow, grow” right along with everyone else.

  7. I’ve been praying.

  8. Thinking of you! Hang in there!

  9. ooooh exciting! Am sending more growing vibes 🙂

  10. I’m just catching up on your posts. So excited for you! Grow embyros, grow!

(Also, could I get the password for your pwp posts?)

  11. Hope this is the one for you- to give you another baby and baby hope a sibling!

  12. The tension is too much to bear at times, isn’t it. I’m hoping for a good outcome.
